Liverpool 1 - Manchester City 2 58 mins: Baros powers Liverpool ahead 74: Anelka scores from the spot 92: Anelka grabs a City winner (2 minute xtra time but real time was 2min 30seconds on the clock, Thanks ref!) Hmm, god didnt save the day for Manc City today but the come-with-a-revenged Anelka was there. Another pathetic display by Liverpool?? I'm so angry I can eat the keyboard. I woudnt really blame Traore but I didnt really understand GH tactics of bringing Heskey in, replacing Diouf. Yes, diouf looked tired and not fully on to the game but, I just cannot accept Heskey! All he done is to make a bad tackle in front of the goal mouth for a freekick. He could be sent off for that and for the whole time he was in, he doesnt do any assisting or whatever. He is such a cry baby. Making a stupid tackle and then making his pity-me-doggy face. I think GH should truly consider of putting him in a game. Liverpool needs to win this one, but no, the 'defensive-quality' Heskey is there to save the day. Bullshit! I'd rather see Biscan playing then the cry-baby Heskey. In order to be on top of the league, a team should have all the offensive material needed. If you dont score you wont be at the top. Murphy play badly and make some very teribble passes, yet he stays. In the blog before this I did make fun of Heskey, and now, we all now he is like that. I dont know if he has more than a 'player-manager' relationship with Houllier because Houllier seems to like him very very very much. I dont see a point here besides only for Houllier to proove that he had bought a brilliant player. But as we all know, Heskey is more a nuisance and not a reliable player at all with constant inconsistancy ;) The referee is also to be blame. A bad tackle to Cheyrou was overlooked even tho he's right behind them. A second yellow should be flashed! I Instead of a 2 minute xtra time, Anelka scored his second in the third minute. *duh* Luckily Chelsea also lose to West Ham. But, instead of targeting a draw in the last match against Chelsea, Liverpool needs to win! Yes, a win. Find a stat somewhere that shows Liverpool had won a game there. It's a tough one this one, and I think not only the Champion League places is at stake. - The board may not allow for any buy later this summer. - Worst still, Owen will not sign a new contract.. ;( So, I think GH and frens have to think and think carefully about all this things. I'm still hoping for a win in the last game, but dont let my hope die away. Prove to everyone that Liverpool can still do it and is one of the best team around.
